Positive: Close to the motorway, lots of parking. Check in staff in the evening were lovely. Room was clean. Staff in the restaurant were lovely. Staff at check in were friendly and helpful.
Negative: Room was small, filled with furniture. I imagine most people just stay one nigh so full sized wardrobe, two chairs, an armchair, a desk, is a bit too much, considering the size of the room. We hardly had space to move around. There was hardly space on the floor for the dog to curl up to go to sleep. For the price, I would expect real cups and glasses in the rooms, but paper cups were all that was on offer (not very sustainable) and not so nice to drink out of. Nespresso type of coffee machine, nice but only two pods and only small cups. Can't boil water for tea or a flask in the room. At check out, we were almost charged for breakfast we were not going to have and for an expensive bottle of wine that we did not order. We had a photo of the wine we drank but I did not need to show it. The woman on check out made the changes to our bill. If I had been in a rush I would not have questioned it, but I am glad I did. There was no problem with the change, but it is not pleasant to have to check and discuss these things when you are about to leave. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, when I had not.

Negative: Room was too small for me. Restaurant was cold and staff were a bit brusque and not so welcoming. Also was asked to leave at the end as the restaurant was closing! I don’t think there was a need to do that and should have been at least offered an option to sit somewhere else.
